IBM has announced that it has maintained the lead in the India Application Development and Application Deployment Software market with a 30.5% share in revenue terms during calendar year 2008 (January-December 2008), as per IDC’s India Annual Packaged Software Market Report 2008. As per the same report, IBM also stood as the leader in the India Quality and Life Cycle Tools market during CY 2008.
