Compuware has announced the appointment of Vivek Kumar Sharma as its new Country Sales Head. Vivek, who comes with 11 years of experience in the telecom and IT industries, has worked with companies like IBM India, Tata Teleservices Limited and Reliance in the past.
Prior to joining Compuware, Vivek spent close to 5 years with IBM India, where he has held many important roles in Account Management and Sales Management. His last role was that of the Asia-Pacific Regional Client Executive at IBM.
“Vivek, through his experience and hands-on expertise, has the capability to lead the growth of Compuware in India and further strengthen our position, as we move forward in achieving our business objectives in the country,” said Sachin Khanna, MD, South Asia.
In his present capacity as the Country Sales Head for the company, Sharma will be in charge of of driving business and increasing Compuware’s footprint in India by forging new alliances and targeting newer segments.
Talking about his new goals after coming on board, Sharma said, “I’m really looking forward to working with Compuware. Sharma’s coming on board Compuware coincides with another new announcement for the company on the product front as well. The company will shortly launch the latest edition of its flagship product, Vantage, across the globe. This new release, Vantage 11, is a major advance in end-to-end application performance management. The product brings together proactive issue identification, quantification of business impact and problem resolution into a single solution. Vantage 11 provides a top-down approach to IT service delivery that starts from the end-user perspective.
The product will provide unique benefits like automatically linking IT to the business with a performance-driven service model, fixing problems faster with unified performance analysis, combining real-user and synthetic monitoring in a single view and determining root causes with deep-dive analysis of Java and .NET.
To launch this product, the company will carry out a unique road show across the world shortly.
