CBF V scores on West and South leg

February 2, 2010

Rashi Peripherals successfully completed the western and southern leg of the ongoing fifth edition of Channel Business Forum winning some accolades conferred by various IT resellers associations.

The western leg kick started from Durg and Mehsana simultaneously followed by Amravati, Bhavnagar, Jalgaon, Jamnagar, Ahmednagar, Gandhidham, Satara and Belgaum.

The January phase saw CBF V teams also cover southern towns like Villupuram, Guntur, Thanjavur, Kakinada, Tirunelveli, Vizag, Thrissur, Erode, Vizag and Mysore. This phase saw a lot of felicitations and bouquets coming the Rashi way and a lot of vendor presence gracing the occasion.

“It was a real pleasure in attending the Rashi Meet. It was really a NEW Experience not only for me but for all the Dealer Friends who attended CBF V. Rashi has set a new benchmark on how to conduct the meets. Hats off to all the members in Rashi Team for their effort” said G Dasha Kumar, President, Deal IT – Mysore.

ASUS Team was present at Mysore CBF V lead by Vinay Shetty - Country Head – Component Business, ASUS (India) and Jacob Meshack - Channel Sales Manager - Component products, South India along with representatives from Logitech, SanDisk & Netgear. The IT Association of Mysore was felicitated by Vinay Shetty.

About the event, Mr. Vinay Shetty – Country Head – Component Business, ASUS (India) said, “CBF V carried forward the legacy of the previous CBF events and is a great initiative by Rashi to educate channel partners on the changing dynamics of the IT industry. The format of the event was perfect with USPs of each brand and product delivered effectively to reach the minds of dealers who are otherwise impatient to listen to PowerPoint presentations. The selection of locations can be best described as “to be first to target the right place at the right time” since many of these emerging markets in South India for the first time had a VAD calling them on. Office-bearers of all the IT dealer association were duly honored by Rashi Team, which would further cement the good rapport which Rashi already enjoys.” He further added, “Last but not least, the entire Rashi core team inspired me a lot with their execution of this event. Not on many occasions would one see a DGM with12 years of experience doing the pre and post event chores himself. We truly appreciate this Inspiring Innovation by Rashi and we will continue to partner with them in this journey for Persistent Perfection.”

Rashi became the first distributor to organise such a channel meet in small towns like Villupuram, Kakinada, Tirunelveli, Durg etc.

ANBU EZHIL Anbu Ezhil, Logon Technology, Nagercoil, commented,”Tirunelveli CBF V was a very good event, especially Quiz programme. The concept was very different from usual programmes. The products on display were good. In totality, the event was informative & enjoying.”

Till date, CBF V has covered 38 towns in December and January phase with more than 3000 partners attending the event. The next and final phase of CBF V begins from Jammu and Hissar simultaneously and the long and interesting journey will culminate at Haldwani.
