Delhi records hot day, but rain likely in coming days

Delhi recorded a hot day with a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, though respite is on the way, the weatherman said.Light to moderate rain is likely night onwards and expected to continue for a few days.

"Delhi will see rain night till," said Mahesh Palawat, Director of private weather forecasting agency Skymet.

The minimum temperature was 25.6 degrees, a notch above the season's average.

According to the Met office, will be as warm and humid as, with the maximum temperature expected to hover around 36 degrees.
