HP has announced that industry analyst firm Forrester Research has named it a leader in software solutions for end-user experience monitoring of IT services and applications.
Forrester considers end-user monitoring to be the only way IT knows that it is meeting user expectations in terms of availability, performance, usability and accuracy of business services and IT applications. HP Real User Monitor the company's appliance-based end user monitoring solution, is used as a measuring stick for IT initiatives such as business service management, application performance management, problem isolation, service-level management and more. Appliance-based end-user monitoring is a term to describe monitoring software that works on hardware appliances, such as computers and servers.
