ASUS Technology has announced the appointment of the leading IT Distributor, SES Technologies, as a national distributor for distributing the range of Motherboards, Networking products, LCD Monitors and Notebooks in the Indian market.
According to Mr. Andrew Tsui, Managing Director, ASUS India, “We look forward to working with SES Technologies in order to leverage our combined resources to offer the customers with more technology products and also increase our reach to serve more markets in India.”
By joining hands with SES, ASUS has now expanded it channel network to include four national distributors, one regional distributor as well as direct city partners termed as ASUS Royal Partners. ASUS' global turnover for the year 2006 was US $ 16.5 billion and is expected to touch US $ 23 billion in 2007.

With a strong infrastructure required for the distribution business, the core strengths of SES Technologies are in terms of reach and presence in tertiary cities in the country, coupled with the logistic capabilities.
The inclusions of ASUS range of products have enhanced the product portfolio of SES in all the three categories of offerings i.e. Building Blocks, Box and Value add. This partnership will act as a booster to the growth plans of SES which achieved a turnover of over Rs. 662 Crores gaining a 43% YOY growth rate. |
