Aten Presents Trendsetting KVM and HDMI Solution

ATEN International, leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of advanced connectivity solutions, has unveiled trendsetting KVM switch technology at this year's Computex trade show in Taipei. As the leading KVM manufacturer worldwide with a full range of solutions from SOHO to enterprise-class, ATEN had demonstrate new-to-the-market Cat 5 KVM switches, LCD KVM switches, IP-based server management solutions, KVM extenders and HDMI switch at its booth. Talking to Aten Exclusive distributor Cubix Micro System Director Nitin Naik says, "Aten had market share of 80% in enterprise level and now in coming months they are going to focus on SOHO , SME and in order to build their market. They are going to do lots of reseller and dealer seminar in order to make channel aware of Aten brand KVM and entry level for SMB. Aten had been working closely with Cubix and giving all these service related support through their distributor in which one can fully relied on."

At Computex many dealers had shown an interest in Aten KVM Switch for SMB and SOHO use which is at a better rate with premium quality will soon be found in numbers in many dealers shop once they become a Cubix dealers in India.

HDMI Video Solution

The major highlight within ATEN's video solution is the newly introduced 4-port HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) switch VS481 - a milestone product with which ATEN has reached the consumer video market. The VS481 is HDMI 1.2 certified and HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compliant, and offers four HDMI input ports, thus allowing users to quickly and easily share their HDMI display devices with up to four HDMI input sources, such as HD DVD players, satellite systems, digital camcorders or video game consoles. VS481 features user-friendly design with one of the four HDMI input ports located on the front panel. Thus, users can easily access devices, such as digital camcorders, without having to move the HDMI switch for connection. A remote control unit and pushbuttons located on the switch are available for selecting the input source of choice.
