Initiating the Western India channel development program for this financial year, Intex Technologies has held a Resellers Business Development Meet (RBDM), for its Vadodra channel partners, in the city, on June 16, 2007.
The company had more than 125 channel partners at the event belonging to three major business verticals- PC, Consumer Electronics and Computer Peripherals. Such kinds of product and region based meets have always been a major part of Intex's channel development program as they provide an opportunity to understand the needs of channel force, share offerings through product displays, facilitate product handling through trainings and augment expansion in tier II and tier III areas by inclusion of new members.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sudhir Kumar, Zonal Manager-West, Intex said " Baroda is the third most important region after Ahemdabad and Surat in Gujarat. It is also one of the most demanding markets for us in Western India . Last FY saw a growth of 50 % in the sales revenue. This year we aim to achieve 100 % growth by penetrating further into the region and adjoining areas like Anand, Bharauch, Panchmahal, Dahod, Narmada , etc. We already have 3 full-fledged service centres at Vadodra, Ahemdabad and Surat catering to the service requirements of Gujarat region."
The participants had a fruitful discussion, on business plans and practices, with the company officials including Mr. Nazim Ashraf, RSM-PC-West region; Pawan Kumar, RSM - Consumer Elecrtonics- West Region; Somendra Lahiri, Branch Head- Gujarat and Bhavesh Shah, ASM-Gujarat.There was felicitation of top 10 dealers operating under company's major distributors like Vcare, Compucraft and Madhuraj to name just a few. A product introduction and enrichment program was also conducted through a grand showcase of Intex's offerings in PC, Peripherals and Consumer Electronics - TFT-LCD monitors, Desktops, Notebooks, Multimedia Keyboards, Cabinets, DVD players, Subwoofers, Home Theatre Systems, MP3 players, etc. |
