Asia Powercom Introduces UPS's With Extended Backup

Asia Powercom has introduced UPS's with extended backup for small servers and workstations and PCs. The company is targeting home, Soho , retailers, and lottery terminals. One could connect a PC or EPABX or 1 Inkjet printer or 1 Inkjet MFD on to the UPS.

KAL300 UPS have an extended backup time of 2 hours & comes at very special price to end customer for Rs. 7777. Mr.Tejas Sheth, Director - Asiaq Powercom said, "This product is targeted at cities beyond metros where because of frequent powercuts, people would want backup time required and this offer with battery is well suited with very agressive price."

KAL300 is specially designed for the Indian conditions with unique features that other ordinary UPS's do not provide. Two Indian output 5 pin sockets and a circuit breaker protection, there is also a feature of OFF mode battery charging and an inbuilt Telephone / Modem / LAN surge protector. When utility input is Normal , the UPS would provide surge protection to equipment and energy to charge the internal battery. If the utility input is abnormal, the UPS can supply AC power to the load immediately without resetting the computer.

The KAL Series of UPS's have microprocessor-based controls, to get assurance of reliability. There is an automatic frequency selection to match with utility power. The advanced battery management feature enables one to prolong battery's life and fully charge the battery. In the case of Overload & short circuit there is protection both in line and battery mode.
