Senao Enters SoHo Networking Segment

Senao Equipments, a world wide leader in outdoor wireless solution after successfully foraying in the Indian Enterprise networking arena last year has now announced its foray in SOHO segment with the introduction of NSR-1220 – Wireless SOHO Router.

Announcing the focused approach, Mr. Mel Su , General Manager Senao International said , “Since last year with the tie-up with Rashi Peripherals, we have seen tremendous growth in the Enterprise wireless segment and now with the entry in the SOHO segment we are keen to broaden our base in India”.

The new product introduced NSR1220 a wireless SOHO Router will help users to wirelessly share Internet connection once connected to a Broadband modem. They can also enjoy surfing the web, checking-mails along with the most popular net activity of chatting. The new device supports the 802.11g standard and is backward compatible with 802.11b ensuring compatibility with a wide range of wireless devices. It also comes with four Ethernet ports so that users can connect Ethernet enables computers and devices. Being UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) it will help users to immediately start the applications with ease. The inbuilt Firewall will prevent malicious access to computers from Internet. Along with this, there is a series of client products that are getting introduced shortly.

Elaborating the details about the foray plan, Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal, Deputy General Manager Rashi Peripherals said, “With broadband Internet penetration increasing manifold along with multiple PC and notebook usage, SOHO segment is a huge opportunity and we will go all out to tap the new business opportunity. Apart from the NSR1220 there are a couple of other exciting products to be introduced in the coming months specifically for the SOHO segment.”

Senao along with Rashi Peripherals – sole authorised distributors in India , plans to conduct technical training programs and road shows on Wireless networks in the coming months with a special focus being on the emerging markets.
