CA to deliver solutions for Microsoft exchange server 2007

November 14, 2006

At Microsoft Exchange Connections 2006, CA has announced it will deliver broad-based solutions for risk mitigation and compliance that will enhance the built-in capabilities included in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. These centralized information, recovery and resource management products will enable customers to optimize data protection, email archiving, compliance and electronic data discovery across large Exchange Server environments.

As corporations seek to reduce risk and fulfill their governance requirements, IT managers must more rigorously manage and protect an ever-increasing volume of email messages while also ensuring the availability and accessibility of business information contained in their email systems.

To address these challenges, CA and Microsoft are both committed to
providing customers with best practices management and enhanced protection for their Exchange Server 2007 messaging environments. CA development teams are working with Microsoft to ensure that CA's information and storage management products work with Exchange Server 2007. This will help ensure customers have a solution that is easy to deploy, use and administer.

"Regulatory compliance is one of today's fastest growing corporate concerns," said Donna Conner, group product manager of Unified Communications Marketing at Microsoft Corp. "CA is delivering solutions that will enhance the built-in functionality in Exchange Server 2007, and help ensure organizations are able to achieve their compliance and governance objectives."
