Dax Networks, one of the top three networking companies in India , is conducting an extensive, hands-on 3-day technical training programme in Trivandrum on Cabling, Routing and Switching, starting today. This programme is targeted at technical support executives in user organizations, system integrators, OEMs and distributors.
This programme has been running successfully for more than three years in Chennai where Dax is headquartered on a monthly basis, wherein more than 1500 engineers from across the country have been trained in this period. So far, Dax has conducted this programme in eight cities in India.
This is a unique training programme that focuses on technology rather than products. The training approach includes demonstration of various cabling, routing and switching technologies by experienced technical personnel followed by self-learning, hands-on exercises to be undertaken by the trainees.
The training programme is conducted by qualified trainers from Dax's Technical Support Team. A concept centre equipped with advanced cabling technologies and high-end routers and switches has been set up at the venue for training, thereby allowing trainees to get hands-on exposure to these networking technologies.
Speaking about the programme, Mr. K Surendar, Country Manager, Dax Networks said, "As one of the leading networking players in India , we, at Dax, understand that the onus is on us to share our knowledge of existing and emerging technologies with our customers and partners. We have received very good feedback on this programme from the networking community in every city that we have gone to. The large turnout of participants bears testimony to the fact that this programme is addressing a strong need."
The training programme is being conducted at 'Maurya Rajdhani', State General Hospital Road , Trivandrum . Trainees will be given a book on networking principles at the end of the programme and qualifying trainees will be certified as Dax Certified Network Engineer (DCNE).
