Xerox has announced the launch of Xerox ' Enterprise Document Solution ' suite, from its Xerox Global Services (XGS) division. Enterprise Document Solution suite is aimed to help organizations streamline, accelerate and automate critical business processes by serving as critical link between information, documents, people and processes. The Enterprise Document Solution suite is targeted at key verticals such as BFSI, Mortgage Services, Manufacturing, Education and Healthcare.
Enterprise Document Solutions suite encompasses all components of a document workflow in an enterprise such as account payables, account receivables, e-print sourcing, mail room management, HR record management, business transaction, office productivity, document, workflow management and electronic content management amongst others. Under the Enterprise Document Solution offerings, XGS would provide an end to end approach to managing technology, research, assessment and implementation to help manage an "enterprises' total document solution".
Speaking at the launch of EDS Mr. Ravi Venkatraman, Director, Xerox Global Services, Xerox India said, " With the growing complexities in today's business environment the need for standardization, process optimization and document management has become the critical need of the hour. Our Enterprise Document Solution will not only address the current requirement of the enterprises but will move it from the traditional way of handling the document management to offer a more robust technology driven approach and therefore act as a single window interface to eliminate the need to manage various cost centers across an enterprise."

As a part of Enterprise Document Solution, Xerox will also offer Xerox DocuShare Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Platform that will manage information and related processes to help orgainzations work efficiently and effectively. DocuShare provides fast, flexible access to business-critical policies, procedures, and documents that employees or partners need to access virtually any time, from any where. Every relevant discussion, action, and decision can be captured and retrieved including scanned paper documents, handwritten notes, email, and even content in blogs and wikis. DocuShare is one of the easiest, most cost-effective ways to manage content across your enterprise for greater efficiency, collaboration, and control.
