Asia Powercom has initiated a campaign to spread the awareness of saving power in homes and offices. Captioned as the ‘SAVE ENERGY' Campaign, the company plans to introduce this through a multi-media campaign of print, cyber and telecom (sms's).
"SAVE ENERGY" campaign touches upon the importance of switching off your computer monitors to save on power. Use of tube lights over incandescent bulbs, air-conditioners v/s fans, intelligent use of laptops / notebooks and the importance of harnessing solar energy. This is in the form of a poster, and also downloadable wall paper, and sms's, urging consumers that they can make the ultimate difference by exercising prudent usage.
Mr.Tejas Sheth, Director – Sales, Asia Powercom, said, "We firmly believe that power solutions is not just UPS and surge protection, but a sense of responsibility from the user too and hence we have started this campaign to instill the spirit of responsibility of how each one of us can contribute towards saving power."
