Cyberstar Rolls Out Campaign to Promote Hitachi 1TB HDD

August 18, 2007

In keeping with its motto of delivering superlative value and service to its partners, Cyberstar Infocom has announced an extensive campaign to promote the Hitachi 1TB Hard Disk Drive - the world's first terabyte hard drive - among the system builder
community across India.

As a part of this campaign, Cyberstar will undertake channel sales training programs and conduct technology briefing sessions, aimed at evangelizing the immense technical and commercial benefits of the Hitachi 1TB hard disk drives (HDDs). In addition, Cyberstar has also lined up some innovative advertising campaigns, in local and regional media, to further build awareness for the product lines amongst PC builder and user communities in
India.

"Growing volumes of songs, movies, personal videos, pictures and games stored on our PCs highlights a ready market for higher capacity HDDs in India ," opines Raj Rathi, Managing Director, Cyberstar Infocom Ltd. "At 133 gigabits per square inch, the Hitachi 1TB hard drive crams much more data per square inch than any other HDD available in the market today. Quieter acoustics, lower heat dissipation levels and much faster read/write speeds, makes this family of Hitachi HDDs a must have for all PC users," he added.

The 3.5inch, 7200 RPM family of Hitachi 1TB SATA hard disk drives are suited for use in consumer, commercial, extreme gaming and media centre PCs as well as in external storage devices. Built on industry's most reliable perpendicular magnetic recoding technology, robust 3GB SATA interface and enhanced Rotational Vibration Safeguard (RVS) technology, the Hitachi high capacity drives meet the performance requirements of consumers looking for fast data transfer rates, low power consumption and advanced shock protection. Lauded particularly for its silent operation, the state-of-art HDDs offer a staggering 1.2 million hours MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and come with a 5-year warranty.
