Eastern Software System Pvt. Ltd. (ESS), a premier Indian enterprise resource planning (ERP) company offering technology solutions and services to SMBs and enterprises, has announced that it has signed an agreement with Redington India , one of India 's largest IT distribution firms, to become Redington's value-added reseller (VAR).
ESS expects the agreement with Redington to play an important role in ESS' pursuit of its total IT outsourcing (or TITO) business strategy. Having outsourced their business processes successfully, enterprises are now outsourcing their IT functions as well, and for organizations that depend heavily on IT applications and the networks running them, outages can be costly. Effective IT management is therefore needed. Moreover, as the use of IT services and applications continues to grow, the pressure on companies' internal IT management teams is also increasing. Businesses are also increasingly streamlining their organizations and focusing more on their core business activities than on managing their IT environments or addressing issues such as technical manpower retention or capacity management. ESS' TITO service seeks to address these IT requirements.
