Sony Ericsson has unveils the P1i, a classically designed model, tailored for office & business use. The pocket sized P1i is based on the Symbian operating system (v9.1) and boasts of its 3G capabilities along with support for BlackBerry Connect. The hi-speed UMTS and Wireless LAN (WiFi) provide for high-speed Web browsing and data downloads. The P1i features a 3 way text input including a QUERTY Keypad and a handwriting recognition function. A large 2.6” touch screen with a Transflective Display makes it easier to view in bright light conditions. The P1i is expectedto retail for Rs. 24,000/- at all leading outlets and Sony Ericsson Experience stores.
This latest addition to the successful P-series will give the corporate & business users facility of a business card scanner supported by 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera, Wireless LAN (WiFi), VOIP support and GPS support with external GPS receiver. The 124gm Sony Ericsson P1i is a complete mobile business solution that features a three way text input including a QWERTY keypad and handwriting recognition along with the keypad on the handset.
