According to IDC's Application Deployment Software Tracker 2007 1H results, BEA Systems is No. 1 in the application deployment market in China, Thailand and Singapore . In addition, BEA Systems continued its market leadership in the Application Server Software Platform market, in India and South Korea, for the second time in a row with 28% market share.

An application server is a software engine that delivers applications to client computers or devices.
