Unistal launches Data Recovery Services over Internet

Febuary 12, 2007

Unistal Systems Pvt. Ltd., provider of data care, data recovery, anti-virus and Internet security products and services has announced the launch of its online data recovery services through its new website www.idatacare.com . This service initiative is first of its kind in the entire country. Through this unique service that consumes less time and costs, Unistal promises to provide instant solution to its customers and partners across the globe.

Unistal's proprietary connectivity tools link-up the customer's server or PC. Then, the experienced technicians at Unistal's Central Recovery Lab (CRI) perform the recovery or repair process. It circumvents the need to send the media (hard disk) to Unistal's master labs. The Company is in a process of appointing several online partners across the globe. The customers therefore, can recover their data from their own premises—be it anywhere across the globe—or from any of the authorized Unistal online partner's facility. If the customers send the media to the data recovery center of the nearest Unistal online partner, they can track their data recovery process online as well.

Unistal's online recovery services are available for different types of media and operating systems. Unistal has an expertise to perform data recovery from all versions and types of Windows, Linux, Macintosh, Novell, UNIX, RAID servers, mail servers, database servers etc. Unistal also has the expertise to recover data from all types of storage media.

Unistal specializes in, not just data recovery but rebuilding crashed servers to their original state as well. Rather, it is the first line of activity that is performed. This saves a lot of time and botheration for the customer and he can get back to work quickly. In a standard data recovery scenario, the data recovery software is run and then the found files and folders are transferred to another destination. The time taken to do all of this would be unimaginable if the data volumes are in the range of 30 terabytes. However, when it comes to rebuilding, the server can be brought up within a few hours.

According to Alok Gupta, Director-Marketing, Unistal Systems, "This unique service from Unistal ensures the best possible results for customers in an efficient and convenient manner. Besides, it enables us to expand our operations and offer cutting-edge data recovery services across the globe in a short time."

Unistal also provides in-lab data recovery services at its data care centers in New Delhi , Mumbai, Bangalore , Kolkata and Dubai . Data recovery services from Chennai and Pune will commence from April 1, 2007 . Since all these centers are connected online to Unistal's CRL, customers are assured of best services and professional practices.

Unistal is currently recruiting "Over the Net" or online data recovery service partners. It aims to have around 300 such partners in India soon enough. Unistal's web-based support includes 'Live Chat' with technicians and experts and job/case tracking for customers through idatacare.com .

Unistal's software products Quick Recovery and Crash Proof are popular in corporate, international and OEM segments. Unistal has an extensive experience of performing 75,000 data recovery operations and its development efforts have been lauded by HCL Infosystems, Wipro Infotech, Acer, PCS Industries, Elixir Computers and LG. Major PC manufacturers bundle its products, especially its time-tested and flagship product—Crash Proof, with their offerings.

With continuous research and development, Unistal's technicians have developed proprietary methods of recovering data from heavily bad sectored disks, even those that Windows rejects to show as a drive. These methods have also done wonders in accessing those disks that are not recognized by the system setup. H ardware and software tools from Unistal allow recovery of crashed IDE (ATA), SCSI, and SATA drive when it is knocking, is not recognized by BIOS or does not rotate spindle. Unistal's indigenous tools enable diagnosis of the exact cause of failure and prepare the drive for data recovery. This allows for problem solving of modules in the controller or the disk physical geometry etc.
