Epson has launched upgrade models to its range of ceiling-mounted projectors. Featuring longer lamp life and a new pre-failure alert, the EPSON EMP-6110 and EPSON EMP-6010 offer superior dust and smoke** resistance with same unmatched imaging performance.
Enhanced features to save time & money
The EPSON EMP-6110 and EMP-6010 uses a new lamp that lasts 1.4 times longer compared to conventional lamps. With lamp life at 4,000 hours (in low brightness mode), users get the same great performance with less downtime.
Lamp change is also a simple affair. Save time and tedious effort as the EPSON EMP-6110 and EMP-6010's casing has been designed to allow easy access to the lamp without the need to remove the projector from the ceiling mount.
The new projector also features a practical Direct Power-On and Off function. This means the EMP-6110 is automatically activated and ready for use when the power plug is switched on at the source (i.e. at the power socket) – a handy design for ceiling mounted projectors!
Air Filter Cleaning pre-failure notification
To ensure uninterrupted operations, the new projectors come equipped with a new Air Filter Cleaning notification. This function alerts users via onscreen warning when it is time to clean or replace the air filter. Alternatively, there is also a LED indictor on the projector. With these helpful features, users no longer have to worry about missing maintenance schedules.
The ultimate defence against dust and smoke
Frequent users of projectors will know that the accumulation of dust and smoke particles degrades image quality and reduces brightness over time. When air is unable to flow freely within the projector due to the severe build-up of such particles, the projector may overheat and fail to function altogether.
As the first line of defence against these problems, the EPSON EMP-6110 and EPSON EMP-6010 secure its air intake with an electro-statically charged air filter to arrest dust and smoke particles. Like the lamp change, replacing a clogged air filter is just as effortless with the easy access air filter panel.
Unlike typical projectors, the new projectors boast a spacious and intelligent internal layout which guides the flow of air within the projector for efficient cooling. The projectors also feature a sealed casing which encloses essential internal components for maximum protection against harmful elements.
Anti-theft and enhanced security features
To protect the projectors against theft and authorised use, Epson has integrated physical and software security features. The projectors have a built in ‘security bar' to secure the projector to ceiling mountings. For complete peace of mind, the new projectors also offer enhanced security features including ‘Power-On Protect', ‘User's Log-On Protect' and ‘Timer Protect'.
Network functionality (for EMP-6110 only)
The EPSON EMP-6110 is also network-capable. With this, users can access projector functions via a remote PC. By using the proprietary EMP Monitor software, users can monitor status of every networked projector.
Epson's new duo with dust and smoke resistant features means performance is never compromised whatever the conditions. The EPSON EMP-6010, which comes equipped with a 3000 ANSI Iumens lamp, is priced at Rs. 1,42,700/-. The EPSON EMP-6110, with the additional wind velocity sensor and network capability, is equipped with a brighter 3500 ANSI Iumens lamp and is priced at Rs. 2,06,900/-.
