LG Introduces Dealer Seminars On LCD Monitors

LG has recently rolled out 'Play Wide Play LG' – a dealer seminar meant for the resellers and the system assemblers in order to educate them on LG LCD monitors.

Under this new initiative, the company aims to build its technological leadership and create awareness among partners on how LG LCD monitors are superior.

LG LCD Monitors boast of superior technology & design. Anchoring the Product leadership, the mainstream model L177WSB - 17"Wide LCD Monitors is a classic example of design & technology leadership from LG. This model boasts of best aesthetics in the category with Piano Black glossy finish with international striped design. Its unique cable management system, helps to route the signal & power cable so well, practically there is no clutter of cables when seen from the front side. On the technology front, this model leads the category in Contrast Ratio with a DFC of 5000:1.

Various technology features of LG such as world's innovative DFC of 10000:1, Wide Color Gamut, Ez-zooming, World's only F-engine, Aspect Ratio Control (Viewing 4:3 in Widescreen) and Ultra Fast Response time of 2ms etc., which makes LG a true technology leader, are explained to the partners in this program.

Commenting on this new initiative, Mr. R Manikandan, Business Group Head, IT Division, LGEIL said, "At LG, our aim is to attain market leadership through product leadership. To achieve the same, this technical training program for our partners aims to train & update them on the technical & design superiority of our LCD monitors. LCD monitors as a category is seeing tremendous growth and imparting technology training to them leads to a win-win partnership between the company and the dealers."

This event initially is 8 Metro centric spread over a period of one month. The cities mapped for the same include Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata. The seminar has already been conducted at Delhi , Pune & Ahmedabad. Soon after the metro markets are covered, the same initiative will be extrapolated to B & C class markets as well.

Mr. Sanjoy Bhattachariya, having taken up the role of Product Group Head for Digital Display & Storage Division recently, has been personally traveling to all these locations to impart this training program to the channel partners.
