SES Technologies, leading IT distributor has surpassed the Rs.500 crores as of December 2006. This catapults the company in the big league of distributors. The turnover for the previous financial year end in March 2006 was Rs. 462 crores.
Mr. Kurian Chandy, CEO – SES Technologies , said, "This has been possible through a committed team of employees, a strong network of about 3500 channel partners and major international vendors associating with the company during challenging times. We are in the process of enhancing relations with existing partners by providing them with better services. With a strong infrastructure required for the distribution business, the core strengths of the company are in terms of reach and presence in tertiary cities in the country, coupled with the logistic capabilities.
SES Technologies wants to address the needs of `Value Added products in particular in a focused and strategic fashion to create value for the end customer, through a symbiotic relationship in the value chain. The initiative in being proactive and tapping markets to provide a basket of solutions and also leverage on opportunities that emerge from the value added space.
The company is involved in product lines that include: Building Blocks, Value Added Division & box division. The Building Blocks comprise - Components, Peripheral Products, Multimedia products, Casings, while the Value Added Division comprises of Networking, and Telecom products. The box division handles distribution responsibilities for branded computers and Notebooks." |
