Dax Networks has launched DX-4044 , an advanced 4 Mbps LAN extender paired with integrated 4 port 10/100 switch and routing features. Priced at Rs 50,000/-, DX-4044 is targeted at small, medium and large enterprises.
DX-4044 has the functions of Single-Paired High Speed Digital Subscriber Loop (SHDSL) 4-wire router which provides business class communication access solution. With these SHDSL routers, customers will be able to leverage the latest in broadband technologies and meet the growing data communication needs. The speed supports range from Nx64Kbps (ie) 64kbps to 2.304Mbps symmetric payload rates over existing copper 2 wire and Nx128Kbps (ie) 128Kbps to 4.608Mbps for 4 wire mode operation.
With V irtual LAN being the latest concept in the internetworking industry, DX-4044 comes with advanced functions of Multi-DMZ, virtual server mapping and VPN pass-through for safeguarded connections. DX-4044 which is Virtual LAN enabled, offers significant benefits in terms of efficient use of bandwidth, flexibility and performance.
DX-4044 follows Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) with SNMPv1/SNMPv2 agent and MIB II which enables network administrators to manage network performance, monitor and troubleshoot network problems, and plan for network growth. DX-4044 also supports four ports 10Base-T /100Base-T auto-negotiation and auto-MDIX switching ports which allows e asy configuration and management with password control for various application environments.
