Plustek has announced the appointment of Mr. Ankur Sarkar as Country Manager for its Indian operations. Mr. Sarkar will be responsible for developing the business for Plustek in India in the consumer, prosumer and professional market segments through effective sales and marketing besides building an extensive channel and customer support network for the Company in association with its Indian distributors.
Mr. Sarkar's responsibility as Country Manager further include positioning of Plustek brand of imaging and communication products aggressively in the Indian market in accordance with the business strategies of the Company. His key result areas for Plustek in India are carrying forward the ongoing initiatives of the Company across regions and markets—be it the individual, SOHO, SME or enterprise customer—to educating the customer segments, providing effective pre-sales support to the channel, imparting marketing and technical training and offering seamless support services to the end-user as and when required.

Prior to joining Plustek, Mr. Sarkar was the Regional Head, Fujisan Technologies, wherein he was instrumental setting up company's operations in eastern India & successfully established regional operation.
Mr. Sarkar, has a professional career spanning nearly two decades. He has had successful stints as Business Development Manager with PCS Technology Ltd. and Spice Net Ltd.
