Canon India has announced the inauguration of its Master Service Centres in Mumbai and Gurgaon. Spread over 2000 square feet each, these are the first Canon owned camera repair and service centres designed on international standards. The company has invested Rs. 5 million on each of the two centres. Along with the inauguration, the company will also be renovating two Authorized Service Franchises at Hyderabad and Chennai.
These centres have been designed and equipped to handle services of all Canon digital cameras, DVs, DSLRs and lenses. Services offered will include repair of all Canon digital cameras and lenses, CMOS cleaning and professional support on software up-gradation.

The New Level IV Master Service Centres are equipped with all the necessary tools of international standards with a dark room facility to handle Lenses & DSLR adjustments. To mention a few

The engineers in the service centres are trained by the trainers from South & South East Asia Training Centre located at Singapore.

Canon aims to increase the number of collection points where customers can give their cameras and pick them up after repairs. These will include all our 32 Canon Care Centres spread across India which are fully functional. This is a step which will bring us closer to the end customer and achieve customer delight."
The company plans to open two more service centres in the second half of 2007 at Bangalore and Kolkata. |
