Vishal Dhupar, managing director, Symantec, South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region has won the 'Young Achiever Award' as part of the 2007 IT-People Awards for Excellence in Information Technology. The award recognizes his contribution and accomplishments to the Indian IT industry over the past two decades.
IT-People Awards for Excellence in Information Technology acknowledges outstanding individual contributions in the field of Information Technology. The IT-People Awards symbolize the highest level of excellence in recognizing talent, aspiration and ambition of people who have built corporations for the future. This year's jury panel included business and industry leaders such as Dr Ganesh Natarajan, deputy chairman & managing
director, Zensar Technologies Ltd, Mr. Rajnikant Patel, chief executive officer & managing director, Bombay Stock Exchange, Mr. Rajeev Dubey, president HR & corporate services, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Mr. Adi Cooper, vice chairman, IT People Ltd.
On winning this prestigious award, Vishal Dhupar, managing director, Symantec India said, "I thank the jury of the IT-People Awards for Excellence in Information Technology for this recognition.
