GlobalLogic announces strategic relationship with Kewill

GlobalLogic and Kewill, the leading supplier of global supply chain control software and services, have announced a strategic agreement that provides Kewill accelerated delivery and scalable resources for major product development initiatives, and enables GlobalLogic to centralize R&D activities.

Under this agreement, Kewill will transfer its Research and Development (R&D) operations in India to GlobalLogic and Kewill's India team will become an integral part of GlobalLogic's skilled workforce of software product engineering professionals. Through this new relationship, Kewill expects to accelerate product innovation and shorten time to market by leveraging GlobalLogic's Velocity Platform and distributed agile method.

When the corporate transition is complete, GlobalLogic will explore the potential to move Kewill's 65 person R&D center in Aurangabad , India to join GlobalLogic's new Research and Development center in Pune , India . This move, if implemented, would accelerate the growth of the Pune center which is expected to scale to as many as 1,000 people within 24 months.

Mike Dolan, COO of Kewill said, “ Our agreement with GlobalLogic will provide us the ability to reduce time-to-market through their Distributed Agile Method and product development experience. It also provides us the opportunity to leverage additional resources as our needs grow. We look forward to working with GlobalLogic on the expansion of Kewill capabilities ”
