Juniper Networks has announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Transition Systems India, one of India 's leading distributor of networking products. Transition Systems headquartered in Singapore has offices throughout South Asia . Its customers in India include SAP, Microsoft, BEA, Accenture, Yahoo, Google, GE, Ericsson, Bharti, Reliance Infocomm, Vodafone, Standard Chartered Bank, Citibank, YES Bank, ABN Amro, Hyundai Motors, Samsung L&T and IOCL to name a few.
“India is growing at a rapid pace and the need for advanced telecommunications and enterprise security solutions is escalating at the same rate to meet this growing demand,” said Sanjay Jotshi, director for channels, Juniper Networks. “This distribution agreement further broadens our channel footprint in India and SAARC as Transition Systems reaches out to our SMB and enterprise customers.”
Juniper Networks solutions are deployed at five out of the top five Indian companies (by market cap), as measured by the Business Today magazine, December 4, 2005.
The company's solutions portfolio includes carrier and enterprise grade routing platforms, AAA and 802.1X network access security products, unified access control solutions, purpose-built integrated firewall/IPSec VPN appliances, SSL VPNs, Intrusion Detection and Prevention products, and WAN and application acceleration platforms.
