With the growing preference for environment friendly products, Xerox has launched the “Xerox Trust Paper”, a 75 GSM Economy Grade Copier Paper, targeted at the Jobbers, Educational institutions, Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) and the Government verticals.
The newly launched “Xerox Trust Paper” is manufactured from recycled raw materials and balanced mix of pulp to maintain its eco-friendly quality and long shelf life. The paper will be available in A4, FSL, A3, B4, Quarto sizes in India . “Xerox Trust Paper” is in line with “Xerox's Green Paper” which was launched in United States in July 2007 that requires half as many trees, fewer chemicals and less energy to manufacture than usual paper.
Sharing details on “Xerox Trust Paper”, Mr. Ajay Khanna, Associate Director, Office Post Sales Group, Xerox India Limited, said, “Keeping in line with Xerox's strong market position in high-quality copier paper category, Xerox today made a foray in economy grade copier category of Paper with the launch of “Xerox Trust Paper.” Paper is now being used not only for traditional copying purposes but printing as well, as employees in any organization prefer to take prints than copying leading to a spur in demand for Paper for both printing and copying usages.”
Added, Mr. Khanna, “Indian economy is steadily growing and opening up business opportunities, giving a boost to the Paper industry which is poised to grow from 7.2 million tonnes in 2005-06 to 13.85 million tonnes in 2015-16 (Source: Paperex 2007). Xerox India has chalked out aggressive plans to capitalize on this huge opportunity by launching new brands of paper in different categories including economy grade and wide format in 2007-08.”
“Xerox Trust Paper” is capable of multi-copy and high run ability with multi feed ensuring less paper jam and wastages. In addition, the newly launched paper can be used with all kinds of copiers and printers both Laser and Inkjet, Plain Paper Fax irrespective of the brand.
