Foxconn has announced new distributors for India territory. From October 2007, Maxtone Electronics and eSys (India) both will join previously announced group of distributors in India and also will be responsible for distributions of all range Foxconn branded products as Motherboards, Chassis, VGA, Coolers, Bare-bone systems as official and authorized distributors.

Mumbai-based manufacturer and distributor Maxtone Electronics is all set to tie up with Taiwan-based Foxconn to improve its footprint for the range of motherboards in India . Speaking on the venture, Champakraj Gurjar, managing director of Maxtone Electronics said, "The Indian market is growing everyday with newer products entering the market. Following this distribution tie-up with Foxconn, we guarantee good quality and a large variety of products at the customers end." However, Gurjar further added that there would be different strategies for channel partners along with additional rewards and incentives. "There will be time-to-time schemes for the dealers along with special incentives and extra benefits," he said.

Moreover, he added that his focus is now on expanding the motherboard product line. He also aims at making his products acceptable and popular all over India.

Established in 1985, Maxtone Electronics is the distributor and manufacturer of motherboards and graphic cards in India. Besides, it's also the distributor for Compaq, HP, and Lenovo and are strategic partners for Intel in India.

Announcing new distributor, David Shih, Managing Director of Foxconn Middle East, Africa and Indian Office said, “ India is an important emerging market with about 6 million PCs sold yearly. And in 2007 we would like to establish wide and strong network of distributors across all India to be sure, that our products available at all sectors. There are many brands participate in India IT market, but many of them failed because of lack of experience, weak channel support for distributors from Vendors and tricky warranty terms of service. One of the first products in India Foxconn launched pure “over-clocking” motherboard MARS which create wave of solutions in solid Quantum Force series developed by Foxconn engineers. From October Foxconn also will provide Motherboards based on latest X38 Intel Chipset in DigitalLife concept to provide latest entertainment home solutions. Meanwhile Foxconn engineers confirmed they already started design for X48 chipset and working with deep cooperation with Intel to provide best solution in this field as well very soon.
