Aepona, a global provider of telecoms software products and services, has announced the launch of its Indian developer partner program, aimed at encouraging Indian software developers to create new innovative telecoms services using the market-leading Aepona technology.
Aepona began operations in India in September 2006, and since that time has gained considerable market traction for its solutions, including a contract award with one of the country's leading telecommunications operators. The new technology that the company gained through its merger with Appium makes it much easier for application developers to create exciting new telecommunications services using Aepona's platform. These services can then be offered to telecoms operators, both in India and abroad, as part of an end-to-end solution.

Aepona formally launched the Developer Partner Program at an event held in the ITC Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi on 26th September 2007 . The event, entitled the Aepona Value Added Services Seminar, was attended by representatives from the local software community and several of Aepona's existing partners, as well as senior representatives from telecommunications operators.
